Gong Cha - New World Mall

Pookipichu | Jan 6, 201501:29 PM

After a recommendation by Aubwah this past summer, I went to try Gong Cha and it has become my go-to bubble tea place. After multiple visits, the quality has been very consistent.

The tea is much better quality than Coco, Vivi and Kung Fu bubble tea. Now that Quickly is watering down their tea, there's no comparison. And Gong Cha is open much later than Ten Ren.

Their ai yu jelly is really good, a taste of Taiwan. Their Boba are properly soft and chewy and don't have a chemical aftertaste like some other places. Their coconut jelly add-on is very, very sweet but ai yu has no sugar and balances the sweetness, especially when ordering with 0 percent sugar.
