Golf course advice (and chow too)

Milwaukee Ben | Apr 13, 2005 02:00 PM

Any of ya'll chowhounds golf? I'm bringing 7 guys from Milwaukee for a few days of golf and chow. Locally for golf, we're looking at Audobon and Bayou Oaks. Appreciate any recs on these courses (or other courses you'd recommend in the area). We thought we'd start with some local munies before moving up to the TPC.

And after golf, where's a good spot for a group of thirsty cheeseheads to R&R and chow? This is a top notch group but not looking for Commander's or Broussards type fare. Tavern grub, BBQ or oyster house. Acme is the classic type of joint for us, but looking for others (either in the FQ or out). I know this is kinda general, but appreciate any thoughts.
