I've been to the Golden West many times, so I know it's casual. The menu thanks us for our patience, since preparing great food can take time. But does that include ignoring your customers for twenty minutes after they sit down at a table? Even a pass-by from the waiter saying, hey, we're understaffed, I'll be by in a minute--even that would have kept us in our seats. But totally ignoring us? No way. Bad service. GW's atmosphere doesn't excuse it.
