Golden Temple or somewhere else after Sox game?

TrishUntrapped | Jul 24, 2008 08:25 AM

Hi all,

About five of use would like to go out for a casual supper after Saturday's Sox game. The game starts at 4, and assuming four hours, would be done by 8 (or sooner who knows). We would like to eat afterwards and was thinking of Chinese food because we can just share and nosh.

I thought of going to Golden Temple in Brookline because it is easy to get to by the T, but I haven't been in years and don't know if it is any good. Any thoughts on that?

Otherwise, we are looking for a good place that does not require a rezzie, will take fans dressed but won't be overfilled (ruling out places near Fenway)....

It is my husband's birthday to boot, so we just want to relax, have some drinks, food, and chat after the game.

Does not need to be Chinese cuisine...others wiil do. I would rule out places like Peach Farms that are kind of bare bones. Also, not in mood to wait on line in the North End as we will be a bit fatigued from the game.

We are staying in Copley, but not married to it.

Thanks for any thoughts.
