Gone is the spirit of generosity, no more bread basket, chick peas, vinagretted beets, 90% of the old waitstaff, daily menu, an extensive dessert menu, only two items were in the display case, and a welcoming attitude on the part of management.
Instead, two days after reopening, we find kids using the aisles as launch pads for Daytona tryouts while the maître d' walks by seemingly not noticing, five of their mothers glued to the table chatting away while one unsuccessfully tries to keep them in check... while the former owners comped people to desserts, one cannot even get a glass of water upon first request. Foodwise, the dishes we had were adequate. a request for a slice of onion on my sandwich which wasn't filled after my first request result in a $1.00 surcharge on my bill.
Nowhere were the new owners to be seen, but their niggardliness was everywhere.
