I had Gnudi recently in a restaurant. They served it as an appetizer - is this a small plate or an entrée?

Is Giada's recipe a good one? According the Giada's recipe, it is "easy".

Other recipe suggestions and advice on making this at home would be much appreciated. In the restaurant, I seem to recall the sauce being like a brown-butter sauce....
