Why did my gnocchi melt away when I boiled it?

I made potato gnocchi like I've done a million times. I put them on a sheet pan and froze them. Once they were frozen I put them all in a ziplock bag and stored them in the freezer.

A few days later I put up a pot of water to boil and put the gnocchi in. The result was one giant glob of gnocchi. They didn't hold their shape at all.

Anyone ever experience this? What happened?
