For some strange reason, I have been seeing different versions of glazed salmon entrees listed as chalkboard specials in various restaurants in my area. In four different restaurants, during the past month, to be exact.
What's up with this? Is this a holiday thing?
I tried two of these glazed salmon entrees and was very disappointed both times. To me, the glazes ruined the salmon texture with an icky sticky shiny coating. Yuck!
This experience confirmed for me that I just don't care for glazes on my meat and my fish, in spite of how tasty their descriptions may sound.
Salmon especially. To me, salmon tastes so much better, and more natural, without an icky sticky glaze.
Can anybody here relate to this?
