My 3 girlfriends and I will be visiting Mexico City from nyc for the first time 10/17-10/21. We will stay at an Airbnb in la Condesa or Roma. I’ve researched and read your helpful posts. Please critique the following. Note we will have a vegetarian gf join us Sat afternoon - Mon. I on the other hand am a carnivore, am not a big breakfast food person (eggs/French toast etc) but have an affinity for fine chocolate/pastries. My friends are less picky. I speak minimal Spanish but will brush up beforehand. Thank you in advance. We are counting down!

Recs for best ice cream? I like it very creamy (not icy)
Should I buy tequila (gifts) at la Europea or duty free at the airport?
Where can I buy excellent artisanal chocolate and coffee (or other food gifts)?
