Another Gilbert Restaurant closed... :(

Lunchbox76 | Mar 5, 201103:13 PM

Drove by Amarone Ristorante Italiano which used to be on the Southwest corner of Greenfield and Warner in Gilbert and noticed the signs were gone. We have dined there a few times and while the food was OK the service was usually terrible. It seemed very disorganized behind the scenes. We have very few good local restaurants in the East Valley so we like to support them if they're worthy...

The website is still up but Open Table lists the restaurant is unavailable.

But there is good news for Gilbert Diners, the signs were already replaced by "Tutti Santi by Nina"

We have dined at a couple of her locations in the past and we have always thought the food was great, albeit a little pricey. Hopefully they will be able to survive with their prices (I think Gilbert diners are probably a little more frugal than other diners in the valley.)
