Gigante Restaurant set to open at Lake Isle, Eastchester...

gutreactions | May 12, 201808:08 AM     4

Gigante Restaurant & Bar is set to open at Lake Isle Country Club on White Plains Road, Eastchester. It is owned and operated by veteran restaurateur Louis Gigante of Mulino of Westchester, White Plains, and Mulino's at Lake Isle, a state-of-the-art catering facility at Lake Isle. Gigante and his son Louis Jr. will oversee the day to day operation. Chef Samuel Kim will be in charge of the kitchen. Kim previously put his talents to work for Clyde's Restaurant Group at 1789 in Georgetown, D.C. He also spent time with The Modern and Tom Colicchio's Craft Restaurant Group in Manhattan.
I took a peak inside yesterday and saw how the multi-faceted restaurant is taking shape. It has a sleek contemporary design, enclosed bar/lounge area, open kitchen, and picture windows that overlook a lovely seasonal patio and swimming pools. More on this one down the line...www.giganterestaurant.com
