Gift for a Mexican/Mexican-American family

JBinOC | Aug 16, 201710:05 AM     13

Any ideas of an appropriate, impactful food (or beverage) gift for a Mexican/Mexican-American family?

Wife + husband have lived in Southern California for about 25 years after emigrating as adults in their 20s. Children (all adults now) were raised in California all, or almost all, of their lives.

Ideally, I would like to get them something that acknowledges their ancestry in at least a subtle manner. For example, an Italian family who has lived here awhile would still appreciate a gift of cannolis, or certain cheeses. What store-bought item would a Mexican family appreciate in a similar way? Thanks very much.
