Thanks to all. Ended up at Del Valle (10th & 47th). Started with complimentary chips (very fresh) and salsa that rivals anything in Arizona. Based on a recommendation elsewhere on this board (and artic weather), ordered seafood soup ($12). The soup had about a quart of perfect spicy tomato based broth and was served w/ whole meaty crab, which I quickly picked clean (a skill I learned a a Maryland toddler), a whole fish, about a dozen clams (mixed), oysters, shrimp, squid and a little chopped lobster. Soups are served w/ a dish of chopped onion, fresh cilanto, and lime as well as a plate of tortillas. Large portions of incredibly fresh seafood down to the last spoonful. Wife had shrimp soup ($7), same broth with 12 very fresh jumbo shrimp. I actually had so much seafood I spooned much of it into wifes bowl. Also split a pork burrito. Very good - but just too much. Only "complaint" is that shrimps had no heads on them. Note to any restaurant workers: leave them on. Thats where much of the flavor is and they're also kinda cute. Afterwards, coffee was not that good so we went for coffee at Coffee Pot(9th & 47th?)(also suggested on this board). Del Valle - DON'T MISS. Coffee Pot - RECOMMENDED.
