Tried Gerrard Pizza last weekend, and was totally delighted. A wonderful little independant place to go for a really great pizza. We each ordered there small (12"), however, i think there rulers are wrong, i think it was bigger than that, hey im not complaining. Probably the best crust i had since eating pizza as a kid from a great little place run by an Italian family. This crust from Gerrard, is thin and crisp. Little billowing air pockets. The way i think a crust should be. The sauce, maybe a bit bland, but it had a certain freshness, which made me think its prob not mass produced, you can always jazz it up with some of their spiced up oils. The cheese was just right for me, but then again, I don't like a really cheesy pizza. The best part are all the toppings. They have about 40 different pre designed pizzas, all kinds of wild combs most people would never consider, but all very interesting. Or you can just create your own. All i can say is Hallelujah, i finally found a great place to go for pizza.
