German wine?

Samo | Oct 31, 2002 02:45 PM

As far as I can tell, the best selection of German wine in Los Angeles is that of Cotner Avenue's Wine House. When something good appears at Beverage Warehouse or Los Angeles Wine Company (they share the same parking lot at 4935 McConnell in Marina del Rey), I'll certainly seek it out (extraordinary 2000 Müller-Catoir at both these days). But my list just about ends there, which is a shame. I need more variety. San Francisco's K&L sells a wonderful range of rieslings, but I get there only a few times a year. Please let me know if you've found good outlets for German riesling, spätburgunder and rieslaner among local stores I have not mentioned.
