German Food in Ft. Lauderdale

Rachel Perlow | Dec 30, 199911:52 AM

For Jewish people Christmas Dinner usually means Chinese. But during our recent trip to Florida, Jason and I had the most fortunate experience of going to Alpine Village for a lovely German meal on Christmas day.

Located at 1299 E. Commercial Blvd, Alpine Village is a cute, family owned, homey restaurant with great food. Not being able to decide what to order, we both had the combo plate, and everything on it was delicious, especially the weiner schnitzle and the spaitzle.

It was a nice contrast to all the seafood we usually eat while in Florida, see link for other places I recommend while in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area.
