I will be the first to admit that I love barbeque. I don't care what meat you use, if its barbequed, I love it. However, I have GERD (gaseo-esophical reflux disease). Basically acid reflux, and due to this, I cannot use barbeque sauces that are highly acidic (i.e. all of them) due to the tomato paste. I was wondering if any of you Chowhounds can take the challenge and knew of any way to make a good barbeque sauce that doesn't heavily rely on tomato paste. It might be slightly impossible, but I hope you guys can come through for me. Thanks.
