George Duboeuf, vs. Two Buck Chuck

A quite erroneous posting on Chowhound said that George Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau was better this year. NOT !!! It is still the same cloying undrinkable swill it has been for years.

I know that Beaujolais Nouveau is not great wine. However, I like the taste with turkey. For me, the wine kills the gaminess and the bird upgrades the taste of the wine.

Anyway Trader Joes is selling a $2 bottle of Gamay Beaujolais that has all the qualities I like in Beaujolais Nouveau. It is lite and not cloying. In fact, it is the only bottle of Two Buck Chuck I've ever liked.

Not great memorable wine drinking, but quite pleasnant and IMO is much better and cheaper than old Gerge.
