I selected Geoffrey's to celebrate an important birthday with 8 guests.
It was my first time there and was selected based on reputation. The hostess(s) were college types with an attitude. The waiter was obviously not happy with his career choice- we waited for an hour after ordering brunch to receive our food-he argued with one of my guests- no follow up as to our needing anything- very perfunctory and rushed service. The location is great - the food was okay. Certainly not worth the $300 bill I paid. I wrote a letter to the manager about my disappointing dining experience. I received a phone call 6 days later from a very high strung and confrontational manager discounting what I had written and arguing with me. I subsequently found out that the restaurant was sold by the owner and is now a franchise? I expected a professional and welcoming staff that understands the concept of "customer service" - certainly not my experience here.
