I got to thinking, what were some of my favorite dishes to eat?
Rice in every way; fried rice, jook, plain, rice pudding
Noodles, like ramen, but not instant. Pasta is good too.
Potatoes; mashed, baked, fried
Most of my favorite dishes are cheap and filling, made with cheap ingredients.
What say you? What are some of your favorite dishes that’d be considered “poor man’s cuisine”?
