hi all, me again...so i stopped at gelato classico italian (on union at stockton) about a week and a half ago on a very hot day in the city. i didnt even realize this, but this place was written up in the fodor's guidebook i had borrowed from my boss (i read about it after the fact). it was very yummy (and rewarding given the temperature). i had 2 scoops - espresso and vanilla. they were both delicious, but i think i lean toward the espresso. just that the woman in there was not particularly friendly. no eye contact, no smile, and when i asked her what her favorite flavor was and she was all i'm allergic to milk/milk products. i was like ohhh. but a few more people came in after me, they all seemed like tourists. but i was just wondering what the locals think of this place...
