In response to an earlier query, according to the New York Post, Geisha (consulting chef - Eric Ripert of Le Bernadin) is going to open Dec. 9th. It will have seafood dishes and chicken and meat dishes with Japanese influence.
the same article mentions Ginza Sushi-ko - a new restaurant in the AOL Time Warner building (no opening date mentioned) that will have $350 meals with no menu - just whatever chef Masa Takayama wants to serve you. I'll have to check the LA board to see if it's worth it, although it's probably out of my price range. Any of you eaten at the LA spot?
