ge advantium replacement just done

robinwood | Sep 19, 201011:42 AM     2

since there are no more advantiums easily available in canada - and our 10 year old 220 v unit finally
packed it in - we chose the Ge profile model 1790 over the range convection/microwave to replace
it

this a good news bad news situation which may help others

good news
Home depot price matches
costs less than an advantium
the original wall mount bracket fit the profile perfectly!
fits in the same spot

bad news
the holes in the cupboard for the power cord and screws are in different locations

had to have electrician change back the expensive 220v plug we put in with
an expensive 110 v socket for the new one

will miss really grilling things

maximum oven temperature for Canadians (not Americans) 350 f\\\

no cookbook included for Canadians ! probably because of the above!!
