Thanks for the tips on gazpacho locating yesterday. I went to Jaleo today and was surprised to find that they seem to puree the soup; previously, I had only had a chunkier, more textured gazpacho. Also, they finish the soup with a drizzling of olive oil, which I found to be nice to dip my bread in at the end of the bowl.
The overall flavor was nuanced and light; however, I would have preferred a little slice or two of avocado or cucumber as a garnish to add some mouth-feel dimension to the soup...but the oil did serve as a nice fatty balance to the natural acidity of the tomatoes.
