Finally got a chance to hit the lauded Super Burger today. I enjoyed the counter dining experience... particularly the community feel, they seem to get lots of regulars... and there is lots of chatting & joking ala Cheers.
As far as the food goes... the Cheese Burger is decidedly ordinary & homey... really reminds you of something from the backyard... small lumpy reasonably moist patty, run of the mill ingredients & condiments... slightly burnt bread... not cheap... $5.50, Onion Rings were average... as was the coffee.
Honestly... Super Burger isn't on the same continent as Heavenly Hamburger (RIP)... I think In & Out might actually be better.
Sorry Gayle... I am afraid you will NOT be the next iron chef.
