Had lunch there on Saturday afternoon. My table started out w/ the basil, tomato, and mozzarella - horrible, barely any basil which was shredded to tiny little pieces, the tomatoes were not fresh, the oil tasted like it was of poor quality, and we were suprised to see balsamic vinegar all over the dish which made it even worse tasting. I ordered the steak salad, medium rare but came out looking more like medium well. Waitress insisted she take it back, but I was hungry, didn't want to wait, and so kept it. But I got a nice surprise b/c the meat was still really really tender. The rest of the salad included grilled veggies (which I didn't touch b/c they were a little cold) and baby greens w/ a vinagrette dressing that was too heavy.
My companians ordered the chicken/provolone sandwhich w/ fries. The fries looked/tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and re-fried before serving. I sampled their sandwhiches, and the bread was toasted really well, the chicken was tender and very tasty. They enjoyed the sandwhiches as well.
Service was a little slow, espeically for it being pretty empty at that time, but we didn't mind as it was a lazy afternoon...
