Planning an August roadtrip to Gaspe peninsula via 132 and into Acadie (New Brunswick). Searched the board and found some nice recs, albeit 10 years old. Would really love to get some updated info on gems along the way. Looking forward to trying local produce, SEAFOOD, boulangeries. Anything would be appreciated from the most modest to splurges. Looking for prepared food as well as raw ingredients to prepare myself. I noticed the high concentration of oyster aquaculture around Calaquet, NB and I had a chance to try Beausoleils in Montreal. Really curious, is there a major oyster/seafood farm/retail outlet in the area? Really looking forward to this trip as I greatly enjoyed my past visits to eastern QC. Merci beaucoup.
