I am in the process of specifying appliances etc. for my kitchen remodel. I do not want stainless steel and have so far come up with doing a refurbished O'Keefe & Merrit or Wedgewood (enameled in any color I want) or getting an AGA. The problem with AGA is that it is a European company and they do not do gas ovens. Anyone have any strong opinions about gas vs electric and old technology vs new? I love the configurations of both. I want at least 6 burners and 2 ovens. The AGA's double oven has one convection plus warming trays which are pluses.
