are gas prices affecting your eating?

We've noticed increases in many foods in our groceries. The reason given is that transport costs have gone up steeply. We also think twice before setting off to eat out or shop. From our home, it's about 25 miles to downtown Boston (or about $6 in gas for a round trip), 60 miles ($15) to the coast etc. So we're driving less, eating at home more and consolidating our shopping trips. Is anyone else feeling the effects?
