Had lunch for the first time this weekend at Carmen in the North End. It's a pleasant little spot. I ordered the clams with linguini in a fradiavolo sauce that I enjoyed, but could have been a tad spicer. The highlight of the meal for me was the garlic bread knots that came to the table before the meal. They were warm, already dipped with olive oil and positively delicious. I would go back here just for those. They also made a nice Sangria. Unfortunately, when I ordered it I wasn't expecting it to be white and so it wasn't the best choice to go with my meal. That being said, it would be delicious with a salad. The Sangria had a nice peach flavor to it.
