Game (frozen) at Mayflower Poultry

itaunas | Oct 16, 2007 08:20 AM

Mayflower appears to have increased the selection of game they carry in their freezer section. venison and buffalo medallions, pheasant, squab, guinea, quail (maybe two types), and two types of goose. Prices aren't bargain basement and not local farms, but if you are looking for something more low-brow or last-minute than Savenors worth a peek. Of course this is in addition to their chicken backs/necks for stock, cow hooves, oxtail, chicken feet (may also be available fresh), etc. No quail or duck eggs, but those are available elsewhere (quail much more widely available).
