I often see mention of these Italy guides.....I'm assuming that they are a restaurant guide series but would like further information.....is there one guide for the whole country??? Do they publish in English?? What is their slant.....all price ranges or only top-euro spots???? Are they/is it worth taking along (I am very interested in food but not Michelin-starred places and their ilk for obvious reasons) and if so, where can an English version be purchased? Are there other food guides worth having as well?? (I have/know about the usual standards published here in the USA: Plotkin (the best!!), Maureen Fant, Faith Willinger, Sandra Gustafson.............) Many thanks!!
