Restaurants & Bars

They have done a really nice job in the physical layout of this restaurant which is accentuated with large picture windows overlooking a park and Washington St. Unfortunately from our experience the food did not live up to the decor. A salmon special appetizer was not as described by the server and tasted a lot like the gravlax tapas served at the bar, but much more expensive. A foie-gras appetizer was excellent as was the bread basket and olive oil dip but the entree bouillabaisse ($26) was a disappointment both in content and taste. Finally the shell on the tart for dessert was the consistency of cardboard.

As an aside the whole time we were there the Chef was sociallizing with a patron at the bar instead of overseeing the kitchen. The bar does seem to be a popular spot and was getting more activity than the restaurant.

This has the potential for being a great local spot, but at least the night we were there it wasn't working.
