Had a surprisingly good lunch at The Galley in Scituate today. I had heard very mixed things about since they opened last year but we were in the neighborhood and thought it was worth a try.
My son and I split the "chefs choice" charcuterie board that had a wonderful aged cheddar and nice goats milk cheese that reminded me of Humboldt fog along with some prosciutto, capicola, duck pate, pickled veggies and olives all served with warm bread. We also split the roasted tomato flat bread which could have been a little crisper but overall very good.
Very nice beer list, interesting cocktails, eclectic menu but pretty much something for most people, friendly waitstaff. Will definitely go back and give them a try at dinner. Its owned but the same folks who own Bia in Cohasset and the Tinkers Son in Norwell.
