Gage & Tolners

Happy to report that we had a very good meal at Gage and Tolners in Downtown Brooklyn last night. Good drinks. Started with the excellent fried clambellies served on top of the shell with minced vegetables and a light cream sauce. Yum! Followed with their lump crab on spinach and a flat bed of sauted potatoes. You can see why they have been serving this dish for about 150 years. Beautiful desserts. Excellent service. Beautiful historic room. Gas lights. Good piano player. Reasonable prices. Valet parking. Highly recommended.
