How many of you like fusion Chinese?

I'm not talking about the trendy fusion places like Buddakan or Suzanna Foo. I had dinner yesterday at Gala Manor in Flushing (a neighborhood that houses a large Chinese community in NYC) where I spotted a couple of dishes on the menu that sounded just not right. There was bean curd topped with fried milk and bean curd with vegetables and cheese. Nobody was brave enough to try it last night. I've had a couple of these fusion dishes before, primarily at banquets where I did not do the ordering. Does anybody like these dishes? I'm assuming that they must have a decent amount of people ordering it or it wouldn't have been on the menu.
