We recently discovered Fuse restaurant in Naples, located in a strip mall on Tamiami Trail just north of downtown. They bill themselves as global cuisine and they do it well, from what we sampled. Prices are a bit high, especially for fish and beef entrees, however the quality and creativity are strong.

They have very inventive cocktails including a wonderful smoked margarita. We enjoyed a caesar salad, marinated and fried artichokes with tarragon-citrus remoulade, a fantastic scallop dish, pan-roasted U-10 diver scallops with braised Heritage Pork belly, spiced black bean ragout, roasted poblano crema, goat cheese plantains, tomato-avocado relish, and a crawfish and shrimp etouffee that would make any cajun feel at home.
