A funny thing happen on my way to China Tofu

Yimster | Jan 8, 200405:31 PM     7

Today a non Chinese chowhound call us and ask Mrs. Yimster and I could we go out and eat after a wonderful dinner at Raffles last night.
Since they had not been to China Tofu in Union City (a Han hangout) they would like to go.

We started with two small dishes from the steam table. We had Ma La pork stomach and bean sheets.

Squid ball soup, garlic A choy, sliced eel with yellow chives, and smelly tofu.

This was very filling lunch for about 30.00 with take home leftovers.

I also die laughing when the young lady serving us asked me if my non Chinese hound would eat the sticky tofu. Then she repeated that statement to my friend in English twice to see if they were going to eat this dish. Then I also lost it when she came back and asked if everything was ok and ask my fellow hound if they were going to eat the tofu. The young lady stood over the table until my fellow hound ate a piece of the tofu. I almost lost it. What a wonderful group of Chowhounds we have here that no matter how something smells or looks if it taste good then we would eat it.

Now the question is who is this well known hound.
