Funky Lil' Kitchen Review

To sum it up in one word WOW. My wife and I were totally blown away. We had heard about this place from friends and co-workers but had never been. We thought to ourselves a restaurant this good can't be in pottstown, but it is. My wife started with the peach and goat cheese ravs with dried cherries and some sort of brown butter, it was amazing. i had the house made bacon, with apples and mustard , just fantastic.

Our entrees included BBQ short ribs with house baked beans(canned will never be the same) and sauteed halibut with tomato broth and baby greens, both were outstanding.

They even give a intermezzo which was a very fun mint and fruit(think was mango) popsicle.

We barely had room for dessert but we opted for the house specialty of the chocolate hemp brownie, It was very, very rich and this coming from a chocolate nut.

Overall the atmosphere was inviting and the service very good. My only regret was that my wife and I hadn't dined here sooner. I highly recommend this place to all you chowhounds.
