Funky Fried Rice - Fluke or a touch of culinary genius??... either way, the end result WORKED!!

In an effort to use up a whole bunch of left over boiled rice, I decided to put together a potpourri of 'what-ever' ingredients I managed to dig up from the fridge and tried making a fried rice out of them.

The weird concoction included: Organic Tiger Shrimps, Sun-dried Wild Sakura Shrimp, Chinese Duck Liver Sausages, Preserved Turnips, Ginger & Scallion Pesto, Petit-Pois, Fermented Shrimp Paste, Organic Eggs, Spring Onions.

The resulting tasty, savory and pretty decent 'wok-hay' delight was packed full of multi-layered umami flavor that actually worked well together......albeit a touch on the salty side! Glad I have plenty of ice cold Pu-erh tea available to quench my thirst!
