Looking for fun family place downtown at Christmas

RSMBob | Nov 30, 2004 04:04 PM

After Christmas the whole family (4 of us from CA and 8-10 from the Chi-burbs) make an annual winter downtown trek for a day of shopping, sightseeing, etc. We usually finish it off with a fun dinner. The last 3 years have been Gino's East, Pizzeria Due and Joey Buona's. Doesn't have to be pizza, but should be a casual family place that won't break the bank, but still have good food, preferably downtown in the N Mich Ave/Navy Pier area. Ages range from 1-75, one vegetarian in the group.

Any and all ideas and suggestions are appreciated.
