Like A. Mere, Fulgurances l'adresse in the 11th, has opened with a chef, one Chloe Charles, who uses a variety of ingredients with wild abandon. And like A. Mere, I don't think it's everybody's cuppa. But if you're looking for inventive, innovative, mouth-tingling and nose-exciting food, I cannot think of a better place; it's not tapas/small plate sizes either, my pal from the 20th and I were full plus. For some photos see http://johntalbottsparis.typepad.com/...
I'm not supposed to urge you to go before the newspaper of record does but you'd better because Chef Charles is only here for 6 months; but then maybe somebody as exciting will take over the piano. But I hope they keep the all-female staff (save one guy in the kitchen).
And a big plus, the servers were trained by Southwest Airlines, just kidding, but they're fun, young and jokey.
Finally, on a more sober note, it's not far from the Bataclan, where an astounding number of people were gathered today to see the candles, flowers and messages (one posted on the grille opposite from my grand-kids.)
