Anyone been to Fujino in Gardena for kappo ryori or Shoya (izakaya) in Lomita and can comment in detail whether they are worth the trek from LA? For those who have been to Shoya, what else is on the menu other than oden?
Morinoya has two omakase price levels and require advanced reservation. Are these essentially more traditional based dishes you would find in Japan, and the price levels only representing the quality of ingredients used (like Kyoto kaiseki price levels)?
Can't wait to hit up Mori and Shunji :-). And Taco Maria...
