Fu Lam Moon at dinner time in Fremont-report

Han Lukito | Feb 3, 200411:09 PM

This time I ordered many dishes for dinner at this place. I usually go during lunch for their excellent value dim sum. There were some good and bad dishes.

The good:
Rock cod steamed with soy sauce: flesh is still firm, good technique.

Peking duck: decent flavor, soft buns, green onion and hoisin sauce.

Geoduck two ways: sashimi was excellent as before, the fried ones were not as good. The batter is not that great IMO

The bad:
-House special chowmein
-Assorted appetizer: char siu, jellyfish, duck and pickles. Not good
-Beef steak: too sweet
-Dry scallop soup
-Tofu with veg and mushroom

So, because lots of misses here, I probably would not go back at dinner time here.
