Haddock, cod, snapper, and flounder are fish that I frequently buy frozen from my local market because they are reliably good, affordable and high quality. Today I noticed for the first time a 32-ounce bag of whiting fillets, which looked to be a good value and a decent size with skin on. I've never had whiting and never considered buying it until today. Do you or have you ever purchased frozen whiting? What's the best way to prepare it? Can you obtain a crispy skin from a frozen fish (once thawed)?
