I've got a bag of Trader Joe's frozen rock shrimp at home, and designs on turning it into dinner one of these days. I wasn't sure what makes a shrimp a "rock" shrimp, or if they need to be treated differently than regular shrimp. They're without shells and tails, and I believe are raw. I'm also going to make roasted cauliflower. Thoughts on these shrimp? Ideas/recipes? Is it a good plan to make them a stand-alone, or will their frozen rockness make them better suited to be hidden in some sort of curry or pasta? TIA! I did a search, but couldn't find much.
