The other day, my brother in law opened up his freezer and gave us a lot of stuff. Speckled trout, shrimp, crab meat, and a bunch of frozen raw oysters!
I can handle most of this, but the frozen oysters threw me for a loop- I've never heard of freezing the things before. I asked my mother in law (who has been cooking seafood well for over 60 years) what I should do with them and she said just thaw 'em out and fry them up in some seasoned corn flour. She acted like the fact that they were frozen wasn't a big deal at all.
Anyone else ever heard of this?
