Frozen Meat Question

This might seem like a silly question, but I had a roast in my freezer that I completely forgot about, and want to slow-roast it in the oven tomorrow. I moved it to the fridge to thaw, but how will I be able to tell whether it's still frozen on the inside tomorrow morning? I'm sure there's probably an easy way to tell, but I just can't think of it.
