using frozen blanched beans

Hi there
Many Chowhounds gave me great advice a few weeks ago about blanching and freezing some fresh cranberry beans I had bought. I am now ready to soupify them, and don't remember the procedure of how to go about using them. Defrost? Straight into the pot? Will be any change in texture? Thanks so much!
