A few months ago I threw some very ripe bananas in the freezer rather than throwing them away...now I want to make banana bread (for my husband to bring to school for a long day of parent- teacher conferences)BUT the thawing fruits are VERY MUSHY. They seem to be almost liquified inside their peels. I opened one a little and it is still pale yellow and smells good, but it's all slimy like. Is this normal? Will I be wasting my time trying to use them? Has anyone had this experience? Thanks.
